I'm Michelle Thomas, a licensed therapist specializing in trauma, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. Together, we'll create a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
"You deserve a space that feels like home."
About Michelle
I'm Michelle Thomas, a licensed mental health counselor with a deep commitment to relational, person-centered care. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in connection — with a therapist, and ultimately, with yourself.
I specialize in complex trauma, ADHD, depression, and anxiety, and I bring warmth, curiosity, and genuine care to every session. You won't find a blank-slate therapist here — I show up as a real person, because that's what real healing requires.
Whether you're carrying something heavy or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to help you find your footing again.
Areas of Focus
Trauma lives in the body and the nervous system. We'll work gently to process what happened, understand how it shaped you, and help you feel safe in your own skin again.
ADHD isn't a character flaw — it's a different way of experiencing the world. I help you understand your brain, build compassionate strategies, and stop fighting yourself.
Depression can make everything feel distant and heavy. Therapy offers a place to be heard without judgment, and to slowly reconnect with what makes life feel worth living.
Anxiety often means your mind is working overtime to keep you safe. Together, we'll explore what's underneath the worry and help you find more ease in your daily life.
My Approach
IFS is based on the idea that we're all made up of different "parts" — the inner critic, the people-pleaser, the one who shuts down. Rather than fighting these parts, we get curious about them. What are they protecting? What do they need? This approach fosters deep self-compassion and lasting change.
EFT helps us understand the emotional patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. By exploring these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, we can shift old cycles and build more secure, fulfilling connections — starting with the relationship you have with yourself.
Your First Session
Our first session is simply a chance to meet. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what you're hoping for, and what feels important to you. There's no agenda to rush through — just space to begin.
I'll share a bit about how I work, and we'll see if it feels like a good fit. You get to set the pace. Therapy is collaborative, and you're always in the driver's seat.
Many people feel nervous before their first session — that's completely normal. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you need. Showing up is enough.
